Lonsdale Hook and Jab Pads

The Lonsdale Hook and Jab Pads, we purchased these from Sports Direct at the Wakefield branch for £15.

First impressions are pretty good, the pads seem to feel light on the hand but have enough padding and structure to provide a decent level of shock absorbtion when striking and punching them, they also look fantastic with the red, white and black colour scheme alongside the traditional Lonsdale lion logo.

We recently started using these as part of our regular boxing training regime and we absolutley love them. They are pretty comfortable to wear and the velcro secure hand fastenings make them useful for any size. Even a blind man is capable of using these for punch and strike training.

Overall, the Lonsdale Hook and Jab pads are ideal for all types of combat sports such as boxing, karate, mma etc and provide a decent work out for both participents providing you both move well and the mit wearer can offer the striker the oppertunity to block, duck and weave too by swipping towards him/her inbetween the punches.
