Compressions

Compressions are techniques used in ground fighting and grapling. Taken from certain styles of Kyusho, Jujitsu, the compression is a short sharp blast on your opponent which when applied correctly to vital areas or pressure points will give your opponent a lot of intense pain for a short period of time, crucially this could then give you a window of oppertunity to get an advantage in a ground fighting or self defense situation.

Compressions are best employed using the bodies harder bones that can distribute the power and weight of the body into a small area in order to compress a short sharp blast of pain energy flow into your opponent. Heels, knees, elbows and palm heels are ideal for getting the bodies natrual weight directly behind the comppression.

Aiming for the vital points of the body such as the neck, mouth, nose, solarplexus, groin, ribs, chest and behind any of the major muscle groups such as the biceps, calfs etc.. all make very noce targets for getting big reactions from using the compression technique.

A word of Caution!!

Applying direct pressure to vital points on the body in the form of a compression could have devastating or severe consequences to your opponent. Excercise proper judgement and control and be aware that these moves could seriously injure or even kill.
