Welcome to the official website for Mill Hill Dojo. This website is intended to provide reference and learning material for Mixed Martial Arts and Self Defense principles and techniques. This training material is ideal for beginners to learn Self Defense and a mixture of Martial Arts.


Through instructional videos and written text, you can learn all of the basic karate moves used in our style by following the clear text instructions and also by watching the demonstration videos provided on this site, including how to use all the Kicks, Strikes, Blocks and Stances from our syllabus. We also teach a number of Self Defense techniques and combinations which could help save your ass in a real life confrontation or fight.


We practice in the traditional styles of Karate, Boxing, Wing chun and Kyusho, but that is not all, we also are the leading authority on the little known style of Polecat, which is an advance form of direct fighting techniques, pressure points and neuro-skelometry similar to that used by certain National Secret Service Agents. The relativley unknown style is based on a real Okinawan recipe of Karate that has been enchanced with some of the best western combat styles and advanced learning of pressure point principles and applications of the human body. Karate is a great form of Discipline and Self Defense, thanks to its popularity over the last half century, karate is now one of the most commonly used Martial Arts in the world today. Karate is great for increasing fitness, stamina, coordination, balance, speed and strength. Karate also increase confidence and awareness and it's practitioners are learnt about the peaceful methods of the art and how to respect both yourself and others around you.

Who is both blind and has type one diabetes with kidney disease, is the proud proprietor of Mill Hill MMA Dojo. Involved in Martial Arts since he was a young child, his lifelong ambition was to establish his own Martial Arts training dojo. Mark studied Judo during his childhood and after losing his eyesight in his early twenties, he made the switch to Karate where he currently holds a full 1st degree shodan Black Belt. Mark is also highly experienced in Kyusho, Yoga, Meditation and the Polecat Martial Art.
